For anyone hoping to have a little more edge to their Band Hero, Activision has announced that it will be backward compatible with Guitar Hero: World Tour and Guitar Hero: Smash Hits.
For downloaded songs, there will be a free update. In order to rip songs off the discs, though, there will be a fee (how much is not yet known).
