I would like to hear music from the 80-90′s. The classics. The music that bands took time and EFFORT into making. One band I would like to hear is Tonic.. Specifically the song Casual Affair and all of their music. That would be boss. Also, I would LOVE to hear some Coldplay in there. I wish they would make a Guitar Hero game that WASN’T so evil so my mom would let me rock it out and that had the classics that are so… screamo.. >.> Rock n’ Roll! Classics! That’s what they should aim for in their next GH game.
I’d like to see some more 80′s hard rock back in the music games. After GH3 we started getting lots of new songs. These are fine, but

I think most of you don’t understand the concept behind “Band Hero”. You’re not going to see Slipknot, Nirvana, My Chemical Romance, etc. Did none of you see the announced songs so far? Jackson 5, Taylor Swift – it’s going to be family friendly, mostly pop-rock bands. Why would they name it “Band Hero” if they were just going to populate the disc with bands that would normally appear on Guitar Hero? Rofl it was so funny reading all the comments. About every 5 commenter pointed out, that Band Hero will be a kid friendly game, which means no hard rock or metal, yet the other commenters still post their wishing list comprising 95% of music that for sure won’t be on the game, because it obviously doesn’t fit the style of the game. Since it is a band hero, I think you should focus more on drums, bass, and vocals, since we’ve all played guitar hero. Bands like RUSH, Dream Theater, Deep Purple, and the Police would all be fun to play.

If you are correct in talking about changing genre for this game, then lets have some music which does not include the usual Guitar Hero stuff.

Here’s an educated guess at the final list. It’s basicall just the confirmed songs and artists combined with the German song list that’s been posted, though it was too long so I cut some lesser known artists from the German version. As for confirmed artists without songs that weren’t on the German version, I just took a wild guess on (though suggestions on here had a lot to do with it). If you guys looked up any information for the game, it’s all preppy, “normal” person jizz. Nothing rockish at all.
I’m all for A7X and Disturbed, maybe some more screamo, but GH is becoming more band orientated. They won’t choose too crazy guitar songs unless they have decent bass, or drums, and vocals.
They also HARDLY EVER choose bands with altered voices. We’ll hardly see A7X or MCR for that.
This game’s set list looks decent for the people who like it. I have a massive music taste, so I would probably buy this game, my little sister would adore it. Plus, a new drum set.
Anyway, if some of the mentioned groups are in the game, I’m deff. buying this. Bout’ god damn time Evanescence was in one of these. ^_^

I like the concept of Band Hero, even though its GH’s response to Lego Rockband. They are trying to attract the younger kids who don’t listen to the music that is in the usual Guitar Hero tracklist. I actually like the majority of the released songs and am eagerly awaiting the further release cuz i love most of the artists listed below. I’ve always been leaning towards the softer side of rock and country music so I can’t wait for Band Hero ^^

hi i think they should be a game called guitar hero (JOURNEY) or if not some of there songs, e.g dont stop beliving, any way you want it, there’s a lot of songs to pick from the band Journey but i think those are the best. what do you think.

I would reccomend a Blink-182, smashing pumpkins, or green day’s greatest hits in one game with some special guests. If all this fails, i would reccomend something more Modern Like Avenged Sevenfold, More Attack! Attack! and other Emo and Heavy bands. Im sure that Putting In A DJ hero will be a big mistake
